Hobbies

Family first—then a few pursuits that recharge me when I’m away from backlogs and test reports.

Family

I’m grateful for my family: my beloved wife, who has supported me through my entire career, and our three children. They’re the center of my life away from the keyboard—and the reason I care about doing meaningful work and coming home present for the people who matter most.

Photography

I enjoy framing light, texture, and moments—whether in the city or outdoors. What I love most is sports photography.

Hunting

Hunting, for me, is about patience, respect for game and land, and time spent outside in places you’d never rush through. I value ethical practice, local tradition, and conservation-minded strategies. I also focus on teaching kids about nature and care about it.

Travel

I love to travel. I’ve been fortunate to see a lot of the world thanks to my work—and I still get a kick out of every trip. What I enjoy most is meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and hearing fresh opinions and ideas that challenge and broaden my own.

Public speaking

I love sharing ideas at conferences, meetups, and other community events—testing, quality, and agile stick with me longer when we discuss them together. I’m also proud to co-organize one of these events, alongside friends and volunteers who care about bringing good people and good conversations into the same room.

Teaching

I co-developed a three-month intensive training programme for Czechitas and delivered three rounds of it—teaching and supporting more than 100 women in total. I’ve also run software development training for kids on school excursions to the company, and I’ve delivered my own software testing training for Edutrea.

Trying new things

I like trying new things and collecting new experiences—curiosity keeps life interesting. That sometimes means stepping into the slightly wild side: parachuting, flying, and whatever challenge shows up next.
